Hello! I’ll be interviewing for Brown University soon as an ED applicant. I’m very nervous about an in-person interview so I’d like to do a Skype interview. The interviewer offered both. My question is, does an in-person interview leave a better perception and consideration of the applicant?
It’s all in the interview itself. An applicant can come into an in-person interview and not impress the admissions officer, and a Skype applicant could leave an amazing impression…I feel like if you can perfect your in-person interview, that would be ideal, but if you are feeling nervous or unsure of yourself, it is best to make a good Skype impression than a bad in-person one.
