How does the ASC contact those who get interviews? Email? (Want to make sure I don’t miss it in spam if that’s the case)
Sorry if this question has been answered , I can’t seem to find it! Thanks!

Usually, an alumni interviewer will contact an applicant by email, so make sure to check your spam folder. If an applicant fails to respond to email, they will most likely call.
It’s important to keep in mind though that NOT every applicant will be scheduled for an interview – this is especially true for international students. Much depends on how many alumni have volunteered to be interviewers and how many applicants have applied from a given country/region/area. See: http://admissions.yale.edu/interviews
Thank you! @gibby
Definitely check spam, that’s where my interview offer showed up
The ASC contacts the interviewer and then the interviewer contacts the applicant. I usually call the applicant to set up the interview, over and over again. What I would suggest is that you answer the phone if you see an unfamiliar number. I know you teens are famous for ignoring calls if you don’t know who they are from.
Thank you @Tperry1982 and @Matt846
My daughter received an email ten days ago from the local coordinator, directing my daughter to email the person chosen to interview her. Daughter sent the email the next day (along with a thank-you email to the coordinator), but has yet to hear anything from the interviewer at all. How long should she wait to re-email? Thank you for any help.
@helimom74 She should probably email again soon.
I’d email again soon. Or the local coordinator whose job it is to gently remind the interviewer to contact you.
