Interview Question

Hey everyone, I just recently interviewed for SYU and I believe I did a great job. My interviewer also gave me two contacts at the university to ask questions about specific programs.

So two questions, following up on those contacts is an obvious, but would that also be seen on my application as a plus? And if the interview session went over the normal time limit due to a lot of questions from me, would that be seen as a negative?

Thanks in advance :)

Following up on them will be seen as a plus if and only if said contacts have sway in the admissions process. This is all dependent on their end, whether they choose to add it to your application. But it couldn’t hurt!

That would not be seen as a negative. In fact, my Georgetown interview lasted 2 hours, the woman and I just hit it off! The fact that it wasn’t awkward and you felt comfortable enough to actually talk is a good thing. Plus, they want you to ask questions, as it is more like a conversation, and shouldn’t be one sided. As long as it didn’t last 5 hours, it probably helped you even more.

Good luck in your admissions process!

If you have time and would like to chance me that would be great  http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1569669-ivy-leagues-others-what-my-chances.html#post16511300

Will do studentathlete :), thanks! Also, bumpppp

Follow up questions would help and your amount of questions during the interview also help because they reveal level of interest.
