***Interview Questions List***

Can we make a list here of questions that have been asked at interviews, so those of us who have not had interviews yet can prepare.

So, if you’ve been interviews already, please add on to the list.

1._______
2._______
etc.

okay well just to let you know, my interviewer didn’t ask me any questions.
he basically told me to tell him know if there was anything i had left out of my app or anything else i wanted to expand on.

I don’t mean to sound like a sadist, but it wouldn’t be logical for other CC members to give you the answers to that question. The people on this site are extremely competetive and generally have amazing stats, so why would they want to give anybody else even a slight advantage over them in the admissions process? I know that sounds awful, but the admissions race is…a race.

Robbyg you don’t have to share if you don’t want to but you can’t stop other people from helping each other–no offense meant, your point is valid

ummmm robby, the thing is, a couple of people helping each other isn’t going to drastically change the level of competition in the total applicant pool/your chances of getting in, especially on something as little as an interview.

and the interview is not really a huge part of your app. i know I’d rather go to a school where the people are willing to help each other and not be petty and competitive.

and yet no one is posting questions…

Yeah I am for all the CCers getting in!!! Wouldn’t that be cool? - We just need to keep all the interview questions secret from non-CCers! lol. I am very idealistic… but I can dream, can’t I?? At least until Dec 15, that is!

lol well I WOULD post questions if I had already had the interview…

Robbyg, your argument is baseless. Do you really think that giving the interview questions to ten out of 3,000 or so ED applicants will lower your chances of admission by even a minute amount? I dont think so.

lol not to mention that all interviewers are NOT the same and often ask DIFFERENT questions

haha, i just had mine today. It lasted 1hr 40minish and he basically had two questions. 1) tell me about yourself and 2)What’s the hardest thing you ever did–that one was really tough actually.

The reason most people are not posting questions is that most interviewers ask different questions.

Just dont freak out and be prepared for anything

ok, I see ya’lls’ points. Think of this though, if the interviewers were supposed to ask the same questions, would you still want to ‘help’ other somewhat random applicants over the Internet. I’m just saying that a completely prepared interview-ee comes off amazing, as opposed to one who’s hearing/thinking about the questions for the first time. Now, obviously the questions will vary by interviewer, so I’m just putting some food for thought out there…How much would you be willing to risk in such a situation?

Robbyg, I have no idea what you’re talking about. Risk what? Whats wrong with helping some random person? Your ‘help’ will not make them get into Princeton, as the interview doesnt even mean that much. And even if you actually got that applicant into Princeton by sharing what your interview question was (it sounds ■■■■■■■■ just typing it), that wouldnt affect you in anyway.

Please, lets not be ridiculous. Save the competitive spirit for school, not an internet forum.

i think you have to realize robbyg that life is a leaning process…we continue to learn new things everyday both intellectually and socially…people aren’t applying to princeton (especially ED) just for blind competition at their high school…they’re applying to princeton because the university appeals to them and they hope that princeton will open up more educational opportunities in the future…life would be so much better if we could just all help each other out
