Hey guys,
So I have an off-campus interview scheduled with an alum next Tuesday. He asked me to email him my resume beforehand but what does he mean? Does he want the activities resume I attached to my common app or does he want all my info like prospective major, test scores, course load, etc. ? I’m a little lost in this process haha.

Thanks

He just wants some background info on you before the interview. Essentially he wants to see some general info that’s a cross between the 2 things you mentioned. Here’s an example of a high school student resume: [High School Student Resume Example](http://www.professional-resume-example.com/high-school-student-resume-example.html)

But you can vary it with whatever info you want to provide – jobs/volunteer/academic achievements, etc. It’s not necessary for you to list GPA and test scores.

That was exactly the clarity I needed; thank you so much!

Most of my ECs aren’t exactly your standard Key Club and Model UN (hence why I added a resume to my common app in the first place). Should I include my descriptions or should I just explain if he has any questions once we get to the interview?

Just list the names of your ECs in your resume. It will give you something to talk about on your interview.

Good luck! I’ve been an alum interviewer for my alma mater for many years. Just be yourself and relax.
