Interview

How were your alumni interviews? How do alumni rate applicants (rec sheet, 0-5, etc.)?

I’m not sure, but my alumni interview went really well I guess because my interviewer said he was going to give me an outstanding, which he said was the highest rating…so I guess it’s in superlatives :P.

I think it is basically a 1-5 rating, but each number has a superlative, such as 5 = outstanding.

My daughter got a call last night to schedule her interview. Got to say, “Thank you but I was accepted this afternoon” Heehee

glad she got accepted. she might have wanted to do the interview anyway. my son already had his likely letter (unknown to one of the interviewers–yes, they tag-teamed him!) but he wanted to go anyway. he met two alums that were most helpful and one of them gave him the name of another dartmouth alum–and now he’s having lunch with him as well. it’s a nice way to network!

I received an email from an alumn on Monday, but he didn’t mentioned what college he was from. I Googled him and found him on Dartmouth, and replied the email, but have not received a reply yet. I’m getting worried!!
