Interview

How was Princeton interview, for y’all that have done it?

Why would you like to go to Princeton…etc…what kinda questions did they ask?

Thanks.

My guy asked me what to do about the plight of the middle class in America…

Then he asked me how to eradicate poverty.

Needless to say it wasn’t expecting!

CityKnight06: Are you serious?

mine asked me about my opinion on bush’s war in iraq

Yeah, it was crazy

Some of the questions:

What is your passion?

What forms the basis of your political thought?

Why Princeton? (Of course this is the big one)

What do you think you contribute to Princeton?

That’s all I can remember off the top of my head.

The only question I was asked was --To what other Ivy League schools are you applying?

Oh, yeh he also asked me which other schools I was applying to.

nice!!!

andjust BS it through i guess…

The other questions in post #6 (with the exception of the political one) I beleive are on the evaluation form because my interviewer said that he was suppose to ask me such and such questions but didn’t have to because I answered all the questions during my conversation with him. I had a pretty good ice breaker (literally!) and then after that my natural enthusiasm for Ptn just poured out.

my interviewer told me how he always took the easiest classes, the eating clubs’ bicker system, the amazing parties, and how once when he was drunk, he climbed up the side of some building (“you know, that gothic architecture…”)

he seems like the man

Worldshopper…

Pton has to ask at least 5 questions that is what the interviewer said. I’ve forgotten the questions, but I know they were something along those lines. Then the rest is BS and a simple conversation for about an hour. My interviewer wasn’t that bad of a guy. It helped that he had kids in my school that I knew. The Duke interviewer I had sounds alot like what snowdancer describes. He told me about his parties and stupid things he did in the four years, etc. Funny guy…

Jacuesier:

Yea, my interviewer told me that there were certain questions he had to ask. My interviewer was very friendly and seemed to be very interested in me. He said a lot of nice things about me and seemed very sincere. I plan to keep in touch with him.
