interviewer asked for educational certs and results... normal?

is it normal or allowed for my MIT interviewer to ask to see them? he had a look, since I topped my country for O levels and did decent for A levels it was okay I guess.

but well, he did tell me it’d be hard applying from my country without any international olympiad medals or research awards. but owell =/ I guess the interview was a good experience.

No, it is not considered good form. The interview is designed to focus on stuff not found out elsewhere on the application, and so asking about test results is not usually part of the process.

Hi, Screitlah

let me guess, you are from an Asian country, typical within the Chinese speaking region, right? like Singapore, Hong Kong, or China.

Am I right? :p
