Has anyone been contacted for an interview yet?

For anyone who has had the experience/or have heard about them, any tips?

i sent in my part one around mid-september but i still haven't been contacted yet. For all the current columbia students - what type of stuff did they ask you in the interview?

My S (current student) was asked "if you had a hundred dollars to spend on a day in NYC, what would you do?" Of course, we live near the city; I would hope they wouldn't ask that of a student in, say, Nebraska. There were also the obligatory questions about why Columbia, etc. They ended up discussing the Core a lot.

I have given interviews in the past as an alumnus. It is a great way I think for admissions to get to know the student in a more personal way. Do not worry, just be yourself and express your passions, your ideas, and why you think Columbia is a good fit for you. Different interviewers treat the interview in different ways, but they are not out to get you, so again relax and be yourself...
