Anyone have any tips/feedback on interviews with RIT? Anyone/Anyone’s kid have one this year or last year?
I assume it helps with demonstrated interest a fair bit, so kid is going for it.

My son did an interview in the fall of 2015. I know it has been a while, but it was great. A regional rep interviewed him one on one. The rep totally got to know him, and afterwards, since i drove him there, the rep came over to me and I got to chat as well. My S16 got in with a generous merit scholarship. Best of luck!
great thanks! Yeah this is with regional rep in person, 1:1. Sounds like it was a nice experience, which is hopeful:)
It is a top choice, and kids first interview so am extra nervous, they seem fine. .
Great. Obviously, student should be very familiar with the school and have some questions. Be natural and student shouldn’t be afraid to share about themself. Good luck
Just looping back for future readers! Kid was mainly asked about classes, and school activities. Did take time to review 25’s resume and transcript. Rep did chat with me (parent) and was happy to answer questions and was very nice. Was pretty low-key and it felt both evaluative and a real chance to seel the school to us.
Gave kid tip on DI too. (Rep is visting '25s school, but kid has now visited and interviewed - Rep said to come say hi, when she is visiting, but not to bother missing class and sit through presentation).
