Into the Honors Program, no Financial help whatsoever

darn. I guess I’m not going to BC.

happen to anyone else?

Yeah, unfortunately, BC does not provide any financial aid incentive for HP students. I honestly wish it would though; it’s a bit too committed to need-base financial aid.

so, if i’m in honors program but i still need financial aid, BC won’t give me any??

no, you’ll still get fin aid if you need it (need-based). however, BC doesn’t give you extra money if you’re in the honors program, or extra money according to their EFC calculaton.

Then what’s the advantage of being in the honors program?
Honors classes tend to be more intense - maybe you learn more, I don’t know…or get early class selection, etc, but it seems to me that there should be some sort of reward for Honors designation.

there are some perks to being in the honors program, such as events specifically designed for the students in the programs and who wouldn’t want “BC Honors” on their resume?
