Next semester I decided to add Intro to literature for 21 credits however i may drop it later on… Does anyone here know how difficult introductory literature course is and whether it was regarded as a relatively easy class to get an A in or not and whether i required a lot of work? (I know it’s completely up to the professor really but still looking for opinions) I do read a lot, many substantial novels and plays and did very well (solid A’s in the AP english lit and lang classes in HS).

At my school, everyone is required to take a lit course, it’s our 200-level English (we have to take 100, 200 and 300).

It’s a pretty easy class. Yeah, there’s a lot of reading and writing, but none of it is too hard. At least at my school. In my class, we didn’t read any novels (that was my professor’s choosing, other professors use novels, but in my class we used a collection of short stories and poetry), so that made it easier because the reading was never substantial.
