Introducing my son Georges (aka, future Wolverine)

I was looking over the Wolverine forum and it has gotten too serious. Too many students worrying about their chances and frustrated with this year’s admissions shortcomings. I figured I would lighten the mood by posting pictures of my son Georges. Georges was born on April 28, 2010, which makes him 1 year old. He intends to enroll at the University of Michigan in the fall of 2028!

he’s cute :D

Georges wants some Michigan gear for his next pictures!

picture 8 baby model

Better start saving up. The tuition will probably be 150K a year by that time.

Does he have UAE citizenship? That’d be cool.

He has gorgeous eyes ; you’re fortunate to have such a handsome boy Alex.

Yakyu, if I remember correctly, it’s pretty dang hard to be granted citizenship - although this may be different for newborns.

Really beautiful kid; he’s inherited some good genes.

This is terrifying . . .

His beautiful eyes are perfect for Michigan…Go Blue!!! By the way, where is his Michigan t-shirt???

Enjoy your wonderful son…they grow up way too fast!!!

“He has gorgeous eyes ; you’re fortunate to have such a handsome boy Alex.”

“Really beautiful kid; he’s inherited some good genes.”

Thank you for the kind words. Thank goodness for his mother!

Now if only he were well behaved!

“Yakyu, if I remember correctly, it’s pretty dang hard to be granted citizenship - although this may be different for newborns.”

That is correct ali of arabia, and it is no different for newborns. The UAE does not hand out citizienships to babies born in the UAE. I have lived in this country (on and off) since 1978 and I am no closer to getting the citizenship today than I was back in 1978. The UAE gives out very few citizenships to non-nationals. Those it does give out are a result of direct connections with the royal family. There is no official process or institution that naturalizes immigrants. Not that I would want a UAE citizenship. The public schools and universities in the UAE suck, as do the hospitals. Furthermore, UAE citizens have a hard time acquiring visas to travel to Europe and North America. As a citizen of France, I can travel anywhere worth travelling without visa.

Georges is a tripple national; Serbian (from his mother), Lebanese (my country of origin) and French (my country of naturalization).

“Better start saving up. The tuition will probably be 150K a year by that time.”

Money will not be a problem Yakyu. But getting in may be. Michigan is becoming very selective. God knows how hard it is going to be to get in in 17 years.

Is he gonna learn Serbian and Arabic and French?

Wayneandgarth, he has a couple of Michigan items, but I have not taken his picture in them. I will do so in the future and be sure to send it through. Needless to say, the boy is going to be raised a Wolverine and is going to bleed Maize and Blue!

^Beautiful, that’s all I need to know!

Go Blue and Go Baby! He is very cute Alexandre. :-)

What is his major going to be?

Congrats and enjoy!

PS - he would look great in Cornell red!

Cornell will be his backup should Michigan fall through! ;)

alex, I’m sure if you stick around here for another 17 years when Michigan admission rep joins CC, you can use it as a hook for your son’s app xD or just give them a call.

Adorable, Alexandre. We look forward to seeing this little wolverine in full apparel ;)
