Investment banking at bc

<p>Is it a semi target on the IB scale? Are there a lot of recruiters on campus for job opportunities?</p>

<p>I’m not in CSOM, but I’ve gotten emails about Deloitte and PWC coming to campus and we also have on campus interviews from a lot of big i-banking firms as well.</p>

<p>I am in the Carroll School. From what I have heard and seen, if you put half an effort towards working hard in college you will receive multiple job offers. If you want me to be specific then I can tell you particulars.</p>

<p>I talked to an alum who said that all his friends received multiple job offers and seventy people from his class received an offer from PwC alone. Granted, I here mainly from accounting sources since I am an accounting major, but finance majors have similar situations. My TA last semester has a pretty substantial brokerage gig down in NYC next year. You have to understand that BC has a large alumni network and prestigious reputation in New York City, which you should know by now as being the utopia for finance. The thing about the Carroll School is that you can be average and still land a decent job. At the same time, if you are a passionate student of business, the Carroll School will prepare you for big things. To substantiate this statement, take a look at this statistic.
