Which college has the best placement in this area? Duke or Cornell Dyson school of business?
The joint probability is so low, it is almost a meaningless question.
The top ten schools account for roughly 30 percent of the incoming IB class. No school has more than 4 percent. It’s a matter of personal accomplishment at this level between these two schools.
No idea on the consulting side. Only anecdote is a former associate on my team who is at Duke for his MBA. Consulting internships were incredibly difficult to get even for this level. It’s the person not the school once the school is at these levels.
I dislike the word placement since the school won’t be the reason you get an IB or consulting internship. It will be you - your accomplishments during undergrad, networking, skills, and nailing the interviews. Competition for those positions will be fierce at both schools. Many will lose out to students at lesser schools.
@itsgettingreal17 You could make the same statement about the word lesser. If the schools have the same outcome, maybe they are equals.
@Eeyore123 I don’t disagree with you. I’m just using CC parlance to get my point across since I see so much misinformation on CC about IB and MC undergrad opportunities.
