Invites to attend football games at X college

My son, a rising junior, is now receiving invitations to attend college football games (up to 3 free tickets) and meet with the coaching staff from D1 and D3 schools. Any insight and/or advice would be appreciated.

This is a normal part of the recruiting process. Some schools will include it as part of an academic and/or athletic offering. They want to get to know your son better and understand his interest level. Showing interest is a huge part of many programs. Accept the offer and get it on the schedule if your son is interested in the school. My oldest son accepted a few of these offers even though he was only mildly interested at the time. As it turns out, he learned a lot more about the school and their athletic depts. than he ever imagined. I was incredibly impressed with one school in particular that my youngest son now wants to attend… Experiences like this are priceless in the process and the worst that can happen is that you learn alot.
Thank you

My daughter is a fencer and we had our best time at the football games.
