Oh cc geniuses, can someone help? I’ve noticed that when I try to copy something from the web to my photo stream/camera roll, it says it was saved in the camera roll, but it isn’t there. I do not have any restrictions on, so that doesn’t seem to be it. I looked on the apple forum, and others have had this issue but no suggested fixes. I don’t want to have to go back to the Apple Store. I’ve been 3 times lately for different things, and would prefer not to have to go again! Any ideas?
No one has any suggestions?? I really don’t want to go back to the Apple store!
Is it maybe saved on you iCloud rather than your camera?
Wouldn’t it stil show up on the camera roll?
I don’t know if this has anything to do with it, but while in Photos, look at the bottom - on my phone, I have Photos, Shared, and Albums. Look to see if it’s in a location other than the default.
I got a new phone for Xmas, and thought I had lost my Notes, but it turns out the default calendar they were associated with changed (which I actually wanted). I can still access the old notes, but have to navigate a bit.
Go into your settings on your iPad. Make sure you have everything set at “on”.
I was having trouble with saving pics from emails. Turns out with the latest update, that feature got turned off in my settings.
If you can’t figure it out, you can call apple support. They know more than the geniuses in the apple stores anyway.
Thanks. I don’t keep all settings. “On” as some burn battery life, but everything related to the camera is on. Do you have the phone # , flymetothemoon?
If you hit copy and not save, it won’t show up on the Photos app.
Hmm, I was pretty sure I hit save because it said “saved to photo stream”. But they aren’t there.
That’s the only thing I could think of, unfortunately

I double checked that photo stream/ camera roll were allowing chrome , and it’s all set right… This is maddening.
You also need to know where the pics are coming FROM. For example, you might ni be permitted to save pics from FB by the posters. I can’t save Instagram…because I don’t have Instagram.
And you have to make sure that the ON is there for FB pics, email pics. If you turn it off, you won’t be able to,save those.
They weren’t Facebook or Instagram pictures.
