Iowa Hopefuls

I was wondering who else is applying SCEA from Iowa.

Oh, and by the way, you can’t live in both Iowa and Missouri at the same time.

Or Iowa, rural Missouri, and upstate New York at the same time. Sorry, zachalacka87.

my parents are divorced, and i live part time with aunt…i sure can

I’m sorry…I jumped a bit on that one. I really thought you were messing with me. That’s the bad thing about the internet; you can never tell the tone of a statement. You have a tough situation…but you’re in dm now?

im in des moines for first semester, missouri second semester, summers in ny

good luck with that, hey it might make for an interesting essay if you want to write about it. (that was supposed to be a friendly tone btw)

My uncle used to live in Iowa! And one of my best friends! Ok I’m done.

Do you go to Central/some other school, zackalacka87? I’m at Valley.

van meter…what’s valley?

hehe. Valley High School in West Des Moines… big school. I have 600 in my class.

Valley’s kind of notorious at times…surprised you haven’t heard of it. It’s a good school, but it gets a bad rep being in the suburbs and all. And the girls’ swim team won state! (I had to add that) Plus, haven’t you seen the overdone pix in the DM Register…our football team is playing Cedar Falls in the state game this Friday at the UNIDome. I’m not going, but the game gets a lot a press. Are you sure you’re from around here? jk

of course i know valley…again with the sarcasm…um, my hs in missouri is really good at football if that makes any difference, and the school i would attend in ny is awesome at water polo

I’ve only been to a few of our football games…it coincides with swim season, and none of the guys come to our meets, so I don’t feel a pressing need to go to their games. Great school, spirit, huh? No, actually I am pretty loyal to the school despite some things. And I’m not completely into sports…I love drama and mentoring among other things, too. What do you do at your school? Also, read the “What’s an Eli paper?” thread…
