Hi guys! I made this thread for 2024 Iowa SSTP applicants for further discussion and as a source of information for those interested.
When will the results come out?

Have there been any HS freshmen admitted to SSTP Iowa? If so, which area and what stats?
The result is out-Alternate.
The results came out just now…And can someone please tell me how useful is this for a rising junior? if a past attendee can comment or give their perception it would really help us too
No SSTP is only for rising juniors and seniors.
So do the professors choose their students or does Berlin Bank choose them?
Just got in with a concentration of neurology

Alternate too.
got into neuroscience but their commit date is too early we are seeing hence so confused
supposedly the professors

Thats what i read as well…Profs go choose from the pool is what i read elsewhere too
got notified that i was an alternate. do yk if they allow us to write letters of continued interest? ik some programs don’t, but i’m wondering if it’ll hurt to try.
Alternate. What’s the chance of getting off?
Looking at reddit, it appears there’s only accepted or alternate. No rejections. Therefore I’d say chances of getting off the wl are slim.
