What are people’s thoughts about the TV writing core course in the Iowa Young Writers Studio application. The reason I ask is because in their brief about the program they refer to TV writing and playwriting as “we also offer” “ Students may select a core course in fiction writing, poetry writing, or creative writing (which includes some combination of fiction, poetry, and personal essay). We also offer core courses in TV writing and playwriting.” Are there fewer spots for TV Writing and Playwriting? Any insights are much appreciated. My daughter is applying and is trying to decide between creative writing and TV writing (I know … just before the application deadline

The results came out today, and I was accepted to residential session 1 for creative writing! Has anyone else heard back on their decisions yet?
