The Ipad has become our family friend for long car rides to our cottage and other get-aways. Oodles of Yahtzee has been played this summer (except for the driver!)

We don’t have internet in the car, but another long drive will start later today for a couple days get-away…looking for fun, entertaining apps that can be “played” by all in the car - some type of quiz/trivia type game perhaps???

Share your favorite family travel in the car app!

Try looking at padgadget.com. It’s become my favorite site for ipad information and has a daily price tracker that lists the day’s discounted deals with star ratings from the App Store. There are a gazillion games.

They also do “theme weeks”. Last week was apps for music production. It’s amazing how much professional “content” you can make.

Card shark (40 plus solitaire games plus canasta, rummy games) is a great app.
Scrabble is great too.

You could load some movies on it.

Scrabble is dangerous. You can play many, many games online with people. If you buy it instead of using the free version, you can keep track of your stats. I’m pretty much addicted to it.
