Anyone with some nominations? Am going to some meetings and would like to be able to take some notes and be able to read and revise them. At home, we have PCs, but on this trip, have iPhone5s and this iPad mini only. Thanks for any tips. Am typing this using the new Belkin keyboard + case that H helped me buy for Mother’s Day. It works fairly well, though I’m still getting used to key placement.

Sorry, but Pages costs 9.99 The worm recommended it to me as best word processing app. I take notes on iPad, then transfer to regular Documents.

If all you’re doing is taking notes, Evernote should work fine. It’s free and will sync the notes to your computer if you download the desktop version. I use it on my mini for all my seminar/conference notes.

Thanks. Am just planning to take notes and am still getting used to the new Belkin iPad mini case with keyboard we just bought me today for Mother’s Day. It beats typing on glass but is a little smaller than a standard keyboard and the apostrophe is at a strange place on the keyboard, requiring a shift.

Have heard others recommend Evernote as well. I will have to look into that app more. I did download it.

Evernote is great for web clippings and okay for word processing.

I got around the apostrophe issue by adding shortcuts for all my contractions. (Dont is set to autocorrect to don’t, etc.) I agree the placement is annoying.

Also check out Penultimate, which costs $.99.
