iPad Pro 10.5, keyboard & cover

Just ordered the new 10.5 and was preparing to get either the Apple or Logitech keyboard cover, but each is slammed in reviews. The Apple one does not cover the back and does not protect from drops and is all around not nrealy as good as the 9" iPad keyboard. The Logitech is big & bulky and disconnects easily, per reviews.

Has anyone found a great one?

I’d wait a few months until the lower cost, better designed value models arrive. Have you looked at the Logitech K480? It is a 3 device bluetooth keyboard that supports OSX, Windows, Android and IOS with a slot for the ipad or a phone. The slot is about 11"

I’ve been using a Logitech keyboard for my iPad Air for the last 18 months and it’s been just fine. Very impressive battery life - I only charge it 2-3 times a year despite daily use. In fact the battery has never actually died, it’s just that every few months I realize that I haven’t charged it for a really long time and decide to plug it in.

In terms of disconnects I’ve had a few. Literally, a “few” like maybe 3 in the past 18 months. What happens is it just refuses to sync for some reason. I forget what I do when that happens - I think I have to reboot the iPad to get it work again. That could just as easily be an issue caused by the iPad as the cover, though.
