iphone, blackberry, or something else?

I have the Nexus One. Mostly I really like it, though I found some of the process of getting it to do what I wanted counterintuitive. It took the longest time to get the Calendar to give me audible alerts, but now it works perfectly. I love the map, the built in GPS works pretty well once it figures out where you are, the map function is great, I’ve looked up store locations on the internet, I love Pandora so much I haven’t gotten around to loading my music into the phone. There have been interesting surprises. After I signed on to facebook, my contacts list shows everyone with their facebook icon.

For me the most annoying thing is the time it takes to find the best applications. My husband tried out several note taking apps before settling on one. I’m not in love with the lack of keyboard, but it’s easier to use if you turn the phone sideways.

For coverage T-Mobile still drops the same number of calls it did on our old phone. But Sprint when we had it was much, much worse. Verizon would work better where my parents are in New Hampshire, but worse where we go in Vermont so it’s a bit of a wash.
