iPhone help. How to stop harassing recorded calls

<p>Need help. ATT suggests I change phone # or buy service to block calls. Last day calls from 3607225910 4029820576 &3 others.
Anyone have a good way to stop the calls? I keep declining hanging up and even turn off Iphone. These calls ask about foreclosure. At first I thought they were just phishing for customers but perhaps they just are randoming harassing. </p>

<p>Change your number and then start using Google Voice. Give out the GV number. You can block numbers yourself.</p>

<p>Only give your real number to family.</p>

<p>And add the numbers to the Do Not Call registry.</p>

<p>Download a silent ringtone and then ad ALL the numbers as they come in to a DO NOT ANSWER contact you make. Assign that contact the silent ring tone. Then, they call and the phone does not ring. You see DO NOT ANSWER and let it go to messages, then you delete without listening. I have about 20 numbers added to my DO NOT ANSWER contact. Seems that when I do not answer, over time they stop calling. </p>

<p>And I am on the state and federal DO NOT CALL list and they still call.</p>

<p>PS you can pay for a service by ATT -Limits for Wireless-where you can block numbers. I did it for one of my D’s for a few months to stop a kid who was harassing her. It was 4.95 a month. But I the silent ringtone works for me.</p>

<p>I agree with xSlacker. I use different Google Voice numbers for people who I want to receive calls from and for people I don’t want to receive calls from. It’s free, which is my price point.</p>
