<p>BTW, my iPod Touch (2G) went into black screen of Apple death mode recently. I always update–but this last update turned out to be an update of the firmware on the actual iPod to 4.0. I had to take it to the Apple store–they loaded the 4.0 software using their own computers and said they had seen a lot of this problem.</p>

<p>Stay with 3.0, they said.</p>

<p>I downloaded Barnes & Noble’s ereader app last week. Due to the price wars for readers, B&N has offered a few free books in the last week. I am currently reading Dracula on my iTouch while waiting in line, etc. By the way, I have the 8GB, and loading 3 books did not seem to move the “storage” bar at all.</p>
