Saw this on the Duke website. Looks like not everyone is getting them next year like with the Class of 2008 but theyll still find ways to give them out.

darn, I was hoping for an ipod… maybe they’ll give them out to focus students?

3

I doubt they’re giving them out, just letting you have access to them.

4

while i visted campus for the minority weekend someone told me they were giving out PSP’s this year to freshman

5

Amused: actually they are giving them out. Here’s a quote from the article:

6

This sounds kind of weird. Wouldn’t that make it more common for people to enroll in classes that have iPods over classes that they’re more interested in?

7

Yeah, that doesn’t seem really fair

8

psp!?
What are you smoking?

9

PSPs?

Doubt that but wish it was true lol

They are really sweet, my friends got some for their bdays

10

forgive me for being ignorant what is a psp

11

PlayStation Portable, i believe.

12

omg… that would be AWESOME, I can just imagine the bus ride between east and west campus

13

*** I DO NOT WANT A PSP UGHGHGH*$T(&$^^# >:O!!!
i’d rather just touch coach k once or something

PSPs?!??!?!

14

ipods i could see, but what POSSIBLE excuse could they have for giving out psp’s?? haha… i’d rather have an ipod, anyway.

15

I second that charmedone. Not that I would complain, but I don’t think they’d ever have a passable excuse for giving them to the students.

Heres another article that was in today’s Chronicle http://www.chronicle.duke.edu/vnews/display.v/ART/2005/04/07/425512a814398
