<p>So the army doesn’t do IQ tests? I remember my brother telling me that a long while ago, and that the higher you scored the better of a job you’d get. I’ve also seen them make fun of that on the Simpsons.</p>
<p>I remember reading that the Supreme Court made some type of decision that outlawed the use of IQ tests for jobs but exempted the government from that restriction. Yes though, I do believe the army gives IQ tests. Basically, if you score low, you go on the battlefield, but if you score high, you’re placed in a more tactical position. This is a very general assumption though, and usually only takes effect during a draft.</p>

<p>It’s called the ASVAB, and no it is not an IQ test. </p>
<p>It’s basically a watered down version of the SAT, with a few “scenario” prompts that you respond to.</p>
<p>Very basic math, a little English, and some word play. A little studying and you’re set.</p>
