This is dangerous. Just think of how these will affect the children!

Bump? No replies yet?

Iran has a massive overpopulation of young people. When governments are unable to provide jobs for all of the youth, the government has to redirect the attention of those disaffected youth to an external enemy. Israel is the enemy of choice for just about every middle eastern country. Iran is a horrible country run by horrible people. It never ceases to amaze me that some people could suggest that killing another group of harmless people would somehow please God (Allah).

Israel is the result of a systematic takeover of other people’s land. Its about time the Palestinians get their home back.

And how would you propose they get their land back?

the right way or the wrong way?

Right after America gives all of its land back to the Native Americans and Australia cedes its terroritory to the natives there.

Sorry, but they won’t get their land back. They may get some of it, but they won’t see Israel “driven into the sea” as much as they wish. Israel will remain, and it would suit the Palestinians to get over that fact as soon as possible. They also have to realize that terrorism only results in collective punishment and never seems to accomplish anything, so that has to stop as well.

even if palestine gets a land of their own eventually (whether through peace accord share-share basis or through the destruction of Israel), terrorists will still cook up reasons to wreak havoc everywhere. now palestine land issue, then iraq, then afghanistan, then what after that? the mere existence of the US? it’ll never come to an end. palestine is just a veil of excuses for them.

Making reasonable negotiations between the two nations.

Whats “right” and whats “wrong” is a matter of opinion. I do agree though that the Irani president has gone way out of hand.

Things arent that simple. First off, the Palestinans are without much of a home and nothing to do. Thus all these attacks. Second, the Arabs controlled Palestine for ages, even before and after the Crusades.Suddenly some group takes them over systematically would surely get someone ****ed :). And please dont give me comparion with the Native Americans. They were nothing compared to the American fighters at the time. I can bet all my possessions that terrorism wont end until this problem is solved. The entire Middle East hates Israel. You say terrorism doesnt accomplish anything. Do you expect them to stay silent while their land has been occupied? Sorry, things dont go that way. Even the Native Americans revolted.

And what proof do you have that supports this. Sorry, making assumptions isnt useful. Terrorists dont do all this for the sake of it, they want to eliminate Israel. Bin Laden and the Irani president clearly expressed this. Please provide some support for your statements, you sound like an illiterate person. If Palestinians get their land and the US cease to intervene in Middle Eastern matters, terrorism will reduce drastically. Do you even see terrorism NOT related to Israel? Doubt you’ll see many cases.

That won’t work. The terrorists (Hamas, Islamic Jihad, etc.) have repeatedly stated that they will not stop terrorist attacks until Israel ceases to exist. That is never going to happen, so unless Israel or the Palestinian authority cracks down on terrorism there will be no peace there.

Blame the UN. And also the Arab countries that refused to allow Palestinian refugees to enter.

Terrorism will never end. As I stated above, the terrorists on the Palestinian side, even though they represent a minority, will continue to attack Israel until it ceases to exist. And like I also said above, that will never happen.

And sure, the Native Americans revolted. Look where that got them. If the Palestinians aren’t careful they will end up in the same sort of situation. Blowing up Israeli schoolbuses isn’t going to help Palestinians, and neither is any irrational statement calling for Israel to “cease to exist.”

Sure, terrorist outrage over Israel plays an important part in their anger, but so does the culture of basically all western nations. They want to turn the west into one giant Islamo-republic according to their warped views of the Koran. Ask any rational Muslim what the terrorists are using for their religious basis and that Muslim will tell you that the terrorists are using nothing, they are just nuts. They hate Israel and America for existing, and as long as we continue to exist there will be attacks.

If you say it’s only because of Israel, then why Bali? Bali had mostly Australian tourists. They were targeting Australia for “supporting America in the opression of Mulsims”. What about England, July 7th? They just want to kill as many people as possible, blanket style. Let’s just say their cause is justified. Why are they targeting the “innocent” as well? Bali had Muslims. Bali had citizen from other countries. Sept 11 had many other countries’ citizens who has absolutely nothing to do with Israel. “Kill my son, and I kill your entire family and relatives”?

And what would those reasonable negotiations be?

Reasonable negotiations have been attempted for many many years. Did you ever study how Henry Kissinger became so well known? How about former President Jimmy Carter with his numerous picture sessions with Israeli and Palestinian leaders? Do you recall 1999/2000 when former President Clinton offered the most reasonable settlement ever offered, Israel said ok, but Arafat told Clinton thanks, but no thanks?

My view is that a great deal of the Middle East is steeped in a culture of violence. They’ve grown up with the “death to Israel” attitude since birth, and it’s not going to change. My prediction is a very bloody conflict sooner or later.
