Does anyone listen this kind of music? Back at my home town, most kids listen to this since it’s the cool thing to do. Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphy, and Flatfoot 56 comes to mind.

even dads do.
I introduced van and thin lizzy to my s and my son introduced me to fm and dmurphs.

OI OI OI.

Don’t forget the Street Dogs. They are great live.

Aren’t Dropkick Murphys the one that did the Boston Red Sox song called “Tessie” which featured a few of the players on background, if I recall?

the name speaks for itself

Well, I never even knew that Irish punk was a genre until I saw The Departed (which featured the song ‘I’m shipping up to boston’ by the dropkick murphys).
Ever since then i cant’ get enough of the dropkick murphys.

Are the Ducky Boys from Boston?

I have a question: Seeing as the first two bands hail from LA and Boston respectively, what exactly classifies them as “Irish punk”? Heavily influenced by irish pub rock bands like the Pogues (<3)?

The Street Dogs played a great show at the Masquerades with the Circle Jerks and Lowerclass Brats, Bouncing Souls, etc a few months ago
.

Agnostic Front

Love this music. I am partial to any celtic/celtic influenced music, personally.
