NCP, 2 years ago (when I was minor) had sent and coerced me to get the IRS Form 8332 signed by CP even though he clearly declined any further support and even then, I was 100% supported by CP. I had declined to get it signed and sent back that form scribbled by red ink. He told me that he is going to anyways claim me as his dependent (Qualifying child/relative) after I cross 18 years of age as IRS 8332 won’t be required once I become a major and save at least 1 cent from his taxes. I believe (I don’t know for sure, he has 5 dependents already including himself). He also is a forgery expert.
Currently, I don’t know if NCP is claiming me or can he actually do that. What should I state on college app forms as it asks if I’m being claimed by NCP and there’s no option for ‘don’t know’. I emailed a few colleges about this and they told that I needed to get it cleared if yes or not. I can’t communicate with NCP now and get his misbehaving actions answer from his foul mouth. Is there anyway to know this? Can I email the IRS and ask?
