IRS Transcripts? No SSN?

I was wondering what is it that I have to do to get a IRS transcript. My father filed his taxes but, he doesn’t have a ssn to get a transcript. My college wants me to verify my fathers’ income with the transcript. I have no idea what to do.

you would use your father’s taxpayer id number

On his taxes it a has ssn number but its not a real one would I use that. Is it the same as a taxpayer ID? Also on the irs site I would place the number in the ssn section?

^I don’t get it. Did your father used someone else SSN to file his taxes? Or did he used his ITIN to file his taxes. I think he can use ITIN to order a transcript.

No the place he filed taxes with I think they gave him a temporary or I would like to think an ID like the other user mentioned. But not sure if place on the ssn. irs site and if let will let me go through.

There is no such thing as a temporary SSN. Find out what your dad used.

^You father need an ITIN to get his tax transcript and he should talk to those people or IRS
