Is 14" Laptop too small for Game's Design?

I am planning to become a Game’s Designer, Animator and/or Video Game’s Programming (Syntax) in college, but I want to know if 14" Laptop to small.
I am aware it is recommended to get a 15.6", but considering that I am waiting for this new ASUS G46VW laptop that is coming out soon on December which pack a punch in term of performance.

Do you think that laptop screen size is too small even though it packs a punch, or I should get a a 15.6" laptop that has a bit weaker specs.

Anything under 20" is too small for what you’re going to be doing. So get an external display.

I went through undergrad taking classes in those subjects with a 15" laptop. Just make sure you get the HD+ (1600x900) screen so you have the screen real estate and you’ll be fine. If you need more, get an external display.
