I took the SAT on the December of 2015 and received a 1910. I was wondering if this is good/bad? And should I still take the ACT?
Depends on what schools you are looking at! I would say you should retake your SAT (keep in mind the new sat format). The ACT also has a science portion, has a huge time crunch, but the english portion is more straightforward. If you think you could do better on the ACT, you should definitely try!
it’s average
It’s an above average score. If you’ve only taken it once and you know which school(s) you want to attend … compare it to those schools. If it’s your first attempt then I’d say it’s a good baseline start for you and consider taking the test again. If it gets you into your schools of choice then focus on other things and don’t take it again.
My daughter got a 2100 on her first attempt and stopped because it was good enough for what she wanted.
Good luck!
@Suly99 ? are you seriously calling 89 percentile score average, lmao.
OP: depends on where you plan to go, look at the school’s 25/75 percentile scores
For the Ivy League it is very low
For Penn State it is average
For Northeast Oklahoma State University it is very high.
Thank you for the insight everyone!
