Is 780 Math II & 740 Physics competitive for computer engineering at top schools (Berk, CMU,etc.)?

I was just wondering if a 780 in Math II & 740 in Physics for the SAT Subject Tests is competitive for computer engineering at top schools such as Berkeley, Carnegie Mellon, University of Southern California, Michigan, Georgia Tech, and Illinois-Urbana Champaign.

Note: I am an international student.

UIUC does not consider SAT subject tests in their admission process, AFAIK.

Your SAT subject tests are competitive. What about the rest of your application? GPA/SAT I scores, EC’s, essays and LOR’s. All these will contribute to your chances and they need to be equally impressive and competitive.

@asianfang is correct with regard to UIUC. MIT, which can be ever so choosy, prefers students to have at least 750s in their subject tests. But my goodness, your scores are truly excellent and besides you did not ask about MIT. I suspect if the rest of your application is as good as these scores, that you will have an excellent chance at each of these schools. But since they are “reach” schools for all engineering applicants, or at least “reach” departments within the school, make sure you target a school you would be happy at where your chances of admission are better. You might add Tulane and Case Western to your list for example.

Yes these are very competitive scores and will help your application

@Sam-I-Am Thank you, I really appreciate your help. I already have a safety program since I was accepted to University of Alberta, which is closer to home.
