Is it? I already have a 3.92 GPA (community college…looking to transfer) and quite a few E.C.'s. This isn’t a chance me thread, I just want to know if a 2250 is a good SAT score for Wharton to consider.

A 2250 is a good SAT score anywhere, but no score will guarantee admission.

straight 750s is perfect for anywhere. A lopsided score isn’t as good.

I’m just confused because on your chance thread it says you never took the SAT?
I don’t think you can take it now for transfer… you had to take it in high school.

Plus, I don’t think you’ll get into Wharton transferring from a CC, so it doesn’t really matter.

i know someone that got a 2280 and got into Wharton ED

You have to remember that transferring from a CC will make your life about a thousand times harder… I remember a Yale rep coming in to speak to my class and someone asked a question about transferring. She seemed very reluctant to offer any encouragement, in fact she said that last year they’d only accepted 15 (or was it 20?) or so students like that.

That being said, a 2250 is an excellent score. However, considering the handicaps you’re going to be facing I would say that it’s not necessarily the most competitive one.
