is a 750 on US History subject test good enough??

I feel like its just mediocre. I am looking into competitive schools like Carleton and Boston, havent decided if I even want to attempt the ivies yet. But point is, is a 750 good enough or should not send it in when the time comes?

A 750 is a great score for Carleton and Boston (college or university?). If your applying to ivies, you should still send the score since a 750 definitely won’t hurt you.

It’s good enough for top schools like Princeton and Stanford. I think 2 cycles ago, a parent posted his son got 730 on US History subject test and got into multiple colleges including Princeton and Stanford. This student was accepted to TASP so that may be why. But think about it, what is US history, memorizing a bunch of facts. Somewhat useless. I was not worrying about it for the same reason, so my daughter didn’t study at all. She did well due to luck.

750 is perfectly fine.

@DrGoogle ah, you reminded me of TASP. I wasnt fortunate enough to get in. I agree that many TASP people go to the best colleges. I was pretty sad when I got rejected but I got over it and realized there are other summer programs out there.
