Is a B.Comm degree worth anything?

I’m currently in Engineering. I hate it.
I want to go into a management field, but a B.Comm degree is worth nothing right?
Unless you complete your undergraduate degree from an Ivy League school.
But other than that … it’s useless correct?

I don’t wanna be a lawyer, or an accountant.

What should I do?

I wouldn’t say that it’s worth nothing… it’s similar to an Art History degree. There’s an interesting and useful career path that comes from that degree. It’s just that there are far fewer jobs than graduates so it’s hard to get on that career path.

Don’t make any rash moves. We’re talking about a decision that will fundamentally impact your entire life.

Before doing anything, you need to take a personal inventory: what motivates you, what are you good at, what are you not so good at, then research careers (not majors) and see what career fits you. It’s not an easy thing to do and will take months, but when you consider the impact of a wrong choice, it’s worth that time. Then once you know the career, back that into a major.
