Do all B’s have the same point value, in regards to your gpa? Meaning, it’s doesn’t matter whether it’s a B+ or B-, they’re both equally worth 3 points? Same with all As right (regardless of whether it’s an A+ or A-)?

That’s a question that will vary from college to college. Some admissions offices don’t count pluses or minus after a grade, so a (B-) or (B+) becomes a (B), likewise an (A-) or (A+) is just an (A).

Although Harvard doesn’t directly say how they view pluses and minuses, if you look at what they look for in an applicant, I would think having a transcript filled with A pluses would be a sign of reaching your maximum academic potential at your high school, as opposed to all (A-) or just having all (A). https://college.harvard.edu/admissions/application-process/what-we-look
