Is a double major in Supply Chain Management and English Language wise?

I was majoring solely in Supply Chain Management but recently decided to add English and double major in it. Just wondering, is this a smart move career-wise?

supply chain management is an excellent major. as long as you keep your gpa up and get internships, i can only see the english major helping. anything that will help you be a better communicator can only be a positive thing.

bump. bump. bump.

You kind of got your answer already. But I guess it would be a good question to ask whether the double major will require you stay in school longer? If so, you may want to consider changing the double major to an English minor.

An English major will do as much for your communication skills as a history major. Both will teach you how to write very well, but a communications major would be much more applicable to the business world - if you are looking to enhance your communication skills.

I do not think the added double major in English will help you much career wise. You can just take classes in those areas that will strengthen your writing and communication skill. Your career will depend on how well you perform in your job.
