Is a grant considered a source of income?

<p>UCSD has selected me for “verification” for financial aid. Question is, in the section where they ask me about my sources of income other than the ones listed in tax returns (which I don’t have), do I put in what I got from my Federal Pell Grant / Cal Grant into this section. I got around $4,500.00 for the year of 2010</p>
