Is a request for missing financial aid documents at this point a hint to admission?

Hey all,

I have a family member applying to boarding schools this cycle and one of them contacted us asking if we could submit certain financial aid forms that they didn’t initially receive. Given that decisions are out in less than 2 weeks, is this a sign that they’re poised for admission, or at least in the running?

I got an email from a school asking for forms as well. This might be common.

The answer is No.

Read absolutely nothing into this other than the fact that they are missing info.

Thanks for the input! It just seems like such a waste of resources to be following up on missing materials this late if the kid isn’t likely to get through, but I’ll take your word for it.

AS SOMEONE LAST YEAR SAID, DON’T READ BETWEEN THE TEA LEAVES. Don’t read into anything because it makes possible rejection so, so, so much worse.
