<p>Is A Timer/external Clock Ok For Ap Tests? I wasnt sure if i could use this one i just bought from radio shack. BTW theres no sound on it.</p>

<p>Since it doesn’t make sounds, it should be ok but make sure its something small.</p>

<p>I don’t think timers are legal for the APs. I was told recently that it’s not legal to have a desk timer for the SAT (ETS and CB were not very explicit on the policy previously), so I imagine that desk timers are also forbidden on the APs. It’s safer to go with a digital watch that has a timer function.</p>

<p>My proctor specifically told us to bring our watches so we can keep track of time.</p>

<p>Kids had a timer on their desk & no one stopped them at my school. If you’re worried, bring it & ask.</p>
