is a UM GPA 4.0 a big deal for OOS?

<p>if one has a 4.0 (umich gpa), and is OOS, (and has taken a lot of honors classes), is that just normal or does it increase your chances significantly?</p>

<p>The difference between a 4.0 and a 3.9 is the same as the difference between a 3.8 and a 3.9. It helps, but it’s not a hook or anything.</p>

<p>If you are OOS with a 4.0, good test scores, a reasonably challenging course load and some EC’s, you’ll probably get in. Just be sure to get good recs and do a nice essay.</p>
