Is an 84 a 'B' or a 'C' to Colleges?

Do colleges see an 84% a ‘B’ or a ‘C’ or do they go off the high school’s scale?

definitely the high school. High schools give your GPA, so you just have to work with getting those grades in your schools ranges for As and Bs

84 would be considered an A- in undergrad. In Grad school, it would be considered a B.

^^^That could easily be incorrect. Most schools I know consider it a B. But as others say, it depends on the school and if that 84 is graded on a curve. If 84 was the high grade for a certain class, it could be an A. But if you are talking about your overall average for all your classes, i.e. your total GPA, then it really does depend on your high school.
