I’m considering asking my Allied Health teacher for a rec, but my application recommends having teachers from core subjects like English, math, science, and history. Would my Health teacher be considered a science teacher?
Typically the core classes are English, Social Studies, Math, Science, and foreign language. Health is not a science class in our HS. If you have any doubt, check with your guidance counselor.
It depends on when you mean by “health” class. I’ve seen schools that offer nursing classes that are called “health” classes and are for major credit. It would depend on your school. Is it an alternative to PE? If yes, then it isn’t a core class, if no, then you would have to further investigate.
