Is any passion really alright?

Okay, so my passion is learning about Medieval Europe and about sword fighting. I talked about a college course I took and the club I started at my school. I was wondering if this would be an appropriate topic for the passion essay. I know it probably is, but I don’t want to come off as immature or stupid.

Thanks!

I would say anything you are passionate about is a good topic, as long as your enthusiasm and dedication come through. I sent you a pm for more about this.

Sound good to me! Lime conungrum said, let your passion shine through!

My passion is theatre. I’m uber involved, etc. However, that has nothing to do with math/science/engineering…won’t that be looked down upon?

To kevin63138 (and everyone else out there with non-engineering oriented passions)…

NOPE!

We actually really enjoy reading/learning about students’ interests beyond of math, science and computers… I mean, after all, you’re applying to an engineering college! We figure that you have a definite interest in those areas, so we’re intrigued to know what else you’re passionate about… :D

REALLY!
