Is anyone else slightly anxious about their SUNet ID?

<p>I made ID’s on other college websites just fine, but Stanford’s seems slightly… different.</p>

<p>Wow. I never had to thought a login could be with you from graduation to death. I’m actually nervous about making my ID now.</p>

<p>just make it your name. safest bet - your name won’t be changing any time soon, i presume.</p>

<p>What I didn’t like is that my password for everything right now is only 7 characters, but the minimum was 8, so I had to make a completely new password that won’t be as easy to remember. </p>

<p>But hey, if that’s the price one has to pay to attend Stanford, who am I to complain? :)</p>

<p>Yeah, as long as you go with something simple and normal, you’re fine. Most people go with either first or last name, either alone or with the other initial. I’m [first name][last initial].</p>

<p>I went first initial last name and then a 6…rofl idk y a 6 the system recommended it so I was like sure w/e</p>

<p>yeah I’ve known a few quircky id’s over the years but by and large most of them are just some sort of first name/last name combination. (mine personally is first initial-last name) dont sweat it its not a big deal its just your email address (you also have 2 other SUID’s that you can create in case you absolutely hate the one you made…)</p>
