Is anyone else willing to admit...

…that they sat through (and maybe sang, swayed or danced) their way through the 2+ hours of Beyoncé’s Homecoming (Netflix)? Wow! I’m impressed with it all. The visual and audio spectacle was worth every moment. I only know (can recognize) a couple of her songs, but i think she nailed the entire event.

I wouldn’t know Beyonce if she passed me on the street. She’s one of those people I hear about but don’t know about directly, like the Kardashians. I’ve never heard her music as far as I know. I have seen parodies of Single Ladies. I’ve heard her Coachella appearance was fabulous.

I haven’t yet. But I will watch. Won’t sing along because I’m not cool enough to know the words. But I’ll enjoy it, no doubt.

Have not, will not

@Wellspring - Homecoming is the compilation of the 2 Coachella shows. Just wow!

… that you were trying to drive to one country and got so lost you ended up in a different country? True story. I was in Guatemala trying to drive to the Mayan ruins at Copan in Honduras, but took the wrong highway and ended up in El Salvador.

Anyway, I thought maybe we could make this the “is anyone else willing to admit…” thread.

I haven’t seen it yet but I’ve heard great things. After Lemonade, well, I didn’t think I could be even more impressed with Beyonce but she sure is pushing the envelope.

I have been watching it in bits while I do my morning workout. This old white lady finds her ambition, detail, talent and honesty incredibly inspiring.

Of COURSE I would admit it. It was AMAZING. She is such a bada** and what an amazing roll model. It was incredible.

It’s an ode to HBCUs and I absolutely love the love she gives those institutions.

@greenwitch - where did you watch Lemonade? I’m late to the party and haven’t found it yet.

Watched it the day it came out and WOW. She’s simply amazing.

I don’t even have Netflix

@JustaMom - I think Lemonade was released on HBO initially.
