Is Barrons the worst book to study with?

okay, about 2 months before I bought this book for Math IIC subject test.

I did 3 of the practise tests and got 700, 630, 580.

I got 1 A+, 2 As, and 1 A- for Precal/Cal honors class this year and was

quite confident about this test. But after getting those pathetic scores

in practise tests, I was absoultely depressed.

But in the actual test, I skipped 4 qs and got 800

I know Barrons covers unnecessary chapters

and questions, but 580 to 800???

This is explainging that Barrons is covering unrelated 20 questions, apporximately.

I am planning to take SAT II Chem around Nov-Dec depending on my reasoning scores,

but should I start with Barrons? Is it better to start with Kaplan or PR?

thoughts?

Math II
I used it and remember getting the following practice test scores: 710, 720, 740. I got an 800 on the real test.

I really like the Barron’s books because they go into plenty of detail. The AP ones I’ve used have good FRQs too.
